Tom Gorman is a senior commercial real estate advisor and broker with more than 4 decades of experience advising owners, pension funds, institutions and investors through complex investment and capital transactions. In the beginning of his career, Tom managed a property management firm in Calgary and later Toronto that administered a portfolio of over 5 million feet of industrial, office and retail space for pension funds. Tom was responsible for providing development, leasing and asset management services. In 1990, Tom relocated back home to Regina and worked for a new pension-fund manager overseeing the acquisition and disposition of real estate assets. Tom became known for his ability to identify undervalued assets and form strategic plans to create value. Additionally, Tom was recognized for his ability to position assets to maximize value for the investors. Tom’s growing and diverse experience and knowledge led him to Calgary in 1996 to become a real estate broker focusing on buying and selling large commercial assets on behalf of corporate and institutional clients. In 2006, Tom received an opportunity to relocate to Washington State to provide management services; this is where Tom found his enthusiasm for managing and mentoring young agents. In 2011, Tom returned to Calgary and joined a new small independent firm and focused on capital markets. In 2013, Tom took over as broker and managing partner and over the past 13 years focused on growing the firm and mentoring young agents. Tom was instrumental in growing the firm by setting a high standard for client-driven service that created long-lasting relationships as well as a team culture that focused on mentorship for staff, associates and clients that supported their growth and success alongside the firm. In 2026, Tom enthusiastically took the opportunity to support the building of a new independent firm, Senary Partners.
